The Organization
Power of The Cross Ministries was originally founded in Canada as Every Home For Jesus Evangelism in the year 2004 by Godly men and women who were moved by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of promoting evangelical Christianity throughout the World (Matthew 24:14), under the leadership of Servant of God, Samuel Y. Ansah. The organization's name was changed from Every Home for Jesus Evangelism to Power Of The Cross Ministries in the year 2011 under which it has continued its Bible based objectives.
Nature of the Organization
Our organization is interdenominational and nonsectarian in character. We believe that at certain periods in history and in various places, God raised up leaders for calling men and women to Himself. From these leaders sprang different denominations and independent Ministries that God has used to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively.
Power Of The Cross Ministries, uses this model to teach and provide ministers with credentials from a recognized ecclesiastical body. Ministers and laity alike are bound together by the truth of The Blood of Jesus Christ, The Word of God, and a commitment to Power Of The Cross Ministries tenets of faith.
Purpose of the Organization
We endeavor to unite people under the leadership of our Lord Jesus Christ, to fulfill His Great Commission to go into all the world and preach the gospel (Mark 16:15), promoting evangelical (non-denominational) Christianity. We are vitally interested in the welfare and progress of each member and labour to assist and be an inspiration where we are able. We endeavor to do so by:
• Licensing and ordaining to the Ministry who are qualified, providing them with credentials from a recognized ecclesiastical body
• Providing an organization in which members can find fellowship and grow through correspondence, meetings of presbyters, conventions, and the like
• Co-operating with churches who call us for help in finding new pastors when vacancies occur in pulpits.
Licensing and Ordination
To become ordained or licensed in the Power of The Cross Ministries, one must complete an application, sign the Tenets of Faith, submit all pertinent documents, then be interviewed by the ordination council. Once accepted, a minister must maintain a devoted life of Ministry and sacrifice, strictly adhering to the Statement of Faith.
The Sabbath and The Pentecost
We believe that God gave us TEN Commandments, not NINE; therefore, stumbling on ONE is tantamount to breaking them all (James 2:10). The doors of Power of the Cross Ministries are open on Saturdays, the Sabbath for all that obey the Fourth Commandment (Exodus 20:8) and respond to God's invitation for worship (Isaiah 66:23-24). Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord Of The Sabbath (Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5). Our doors are also open on Sundays for all that want to Celebrate the Pentecost Power. The Lord bless all that Love and Serve Him. - Amen
